1. Reservation

We will check availability with kimono rental shops and set salons.

If there is availability, we will email you the schedule and prices.

2.Please come on the date of your reservation.

3. Dressing and hair setting

Please send us an image of your hair style at least one week before the shoot.

Our hairdressers will create a style that matches your imagination.

If you want professional make-up, please make an appointment in advance.

Fees for professional make-up are required separately.

4. Location shooting

Once you're ready, it's time to start shooting!

It is possible to accompany a photographer for about 120 minutes.

5. End of shooting

When the shooting is over, the shooting experience is over.

6. Data delivery

The delivery data will adjust the brightness and color of the face.

In about 30 days, we will deliver about 120 files by cloud storage.

A 10% discount will be given if you apply for more than one person, such as a friend or sister.

*Transportation expenses from the kimono rental shop to the shooting location are free.

In about 30 days, we will deliver about 120 files by cloud storage.

Photo color and brightness correction

The data we deliver will have its color and brightness corrected, so that it will look even more beautiful.

Plenty of options for photo locations

Kansai Musubu Photo has many locations available for photo shoots. Morning shoots are available at the popular Gion Shirakawa area. If you would like to shoot at a location not listed, we will check for permission to do so.

You can take photos with your friends at the same time

It is also possible to take photos of friends or sisters at the same time. You can also choose the plan that includes hakama rental for yourself and the plan that your friend brings to the graduation ceremony. If you apply and take photos at the same time, you will receive a 10% discount off the basic fee.

Not only individual shots, but also family photos are available at no extra charge.

If your mother or parents are accompanying you, we will also take family photos. There is no additional charge for family photos.

You can take a walk after the photoshoot

If you let us know when you apply, we will schedule the tour so that you can stroll around in your graduation hakama and return home in your kimono.

We can accommodate your hair style request.

If you have a preferred hairstyle, please email us an image of your hairstyle at least one week before the shoot and we will share it with the stylist.

You can shoot in many locations

We can take photos at two locations in Kyoto city center and Higashiyama area. If you would like to take photos at a third location or in the suburbs, we can do so for an additional fee.

Stylish albums available

You can order an album as an option. We have Japanese-style albums and Nishijin-ori albums that are perfect for furisode photo shoots.

Preparation possible from early morning

If you are planning to shoot at a crowded location in Kyoto, we recommend that you start preparing early in the morning. Depending on the partner store, you may be able to start preparing early in the morning.

Graduation ceremony hakama rental plan

We are introducing a package plan that includes location photos, kimono rental, preparation, and data delivery.

If you choose the Bring Your Own Plan and your friend chooses the Rental Plan, the 10% discount on the basic fee will still apply.

We can guide you to a variety of locations, including the popular Gion Shirakawa area, the famous Yasaka Pagoda area, historic temples, beautiful shrines, Japanese gardens available for private photo shoots, and retro modern architecture.

We do not have any designated photography courses, and our unique feature is that customers can freely customize the photography location.

If there is a location not listed, we will check whether we can do on-site photography.

2024 Autumn Leaves Season Reservation Status and Recommended Photo Shooting Locations

We introduce recommended photo locations for the autumn foliage season and their reservation status.

Last minute discounts for pre-graduation and post-graduation photo shoots, as well as photo shoots on the day

We offer a standard discount to customers who make a reservation within 10 days of the shooting date.

Payment: On the day of the shoot

Payment method: Cash or credit card (one-time payment only)

We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express and JCB.

Cancellation policy:

3 days or 2 days before: 50%

The day before, the day of, or no notice: 100%

*Date changes are possible once in the event of rain, but consecutive date changes are not possible.

For locations where a facility usage fee is charged, please transfer only the facility usage fee by the specified due date.

At some photo locations, such as Kyoto National Museum and the Former Kyoto Prefectural Office Main Building, there will be no refunds for facility usage fees in the event of cancellation or date changes.
