Hello.

This time, I will write an article about Nara Park.

Please read this if you are considering photo shoots in Nara.

Nara photo shoot

There are several places in Nara city where location photography is permitted, including parks, temples, shrines, and Japanese gardens.

I'm sure there are some customers who are wondering, "Where on earth would I be most satisfied with taking pictures?"

This time, I would like to introduce Nara Park that I recommend.

Nara Park is a vast park located in Nara City.

It is known as a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in the spring, and is a popular spot for beautiful autumn leaves in the fall.

The most convenient train access is from Kintetsu Nara Station.

-Advantages of location photography at Nara Park-

Here are some tips for taking photos in this park.

1. You can take photos with a sense of the season

Nara Park is rich in nature.

Location photo shoots that make use of nature are popular.

The cherry blossom, fresh greenery, and autumn leaves seasons are especially popular.

2. You can take a variety of shots

The appeal of taking photos in Nara Park is that you can take a variety of shots.

When taking photos at Ukimido, you can take photos with Sagiike Pond in the background.

There is also Kataoka Plum Grove nearby, where you can take photos with the plum trees that herald the arrival of spring.

At Kasugano Park and Ukigumo Park, you can take photos along the Yoshiki River.

There are maple trees planted along the Yoshiki River, so it is also recommended to take photos with the autumn leaves.

There are also many deer in the surrounding area.

There is also a park with a bamboo forest.

There is a limit to the number of people allowed in Yugayama Park, which has a bamboo forest, so if you would like to take photos, please let us know when you apply.

3. Nara Park is a place where you can take photos that make use of nature, and it goes great with Japanese clothing.

While you can take photos in Western clothes, kimono is also suitable.

There are many kimono rental shops in Nara City, so we recommend taking photos of couples and families in kimono.

4. You can take photos with cute deer

There are many deer living in Nara Park.

Recommended for customers who want to take photos with deer.

You can take photos at Ukigumo Garden, Kasugayama, and Kasugano Garden.

-Points to note-

Nara Park is wonderful, but there are a few things to note for customers considering taking photos.

1. There is a limit to the number of people allowed in Yoshikien and Yugayama Park

We have an annual contract with the Nara Park Office for our photo shoots.

Therefore, we can take photos on-site without having to apply for a photo permit each time, so we can respond to sudden requests.

However, there is a limit to the number of people allowed in Yoshikien and Yugayama Park to reduce congestion.

If you would like to take photos, please contact us when you apply and we will check the availability with the administrator.

2. You can only take photos in places managed by Nara Prefecture

You can only take photos in places managed by the Nara Park Office.

It is prohibited to take photos on the grounds of Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and the Nara National Museum.

3. There is a period when the water is drained from the Ukimido Hall

There is a period when the water is drained from the Ukimido Hall (Sagiike Pond) for maintenance.
